Field Effect Software is looking for a Java Developer for our Products Development Team. We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to contribute to a growing organization. We follow an agile methodology and value individuals who write clean and maintainable code. At Field Effect, writing automated tests to ensure quality is also a responsibility of the developers. As a senior team member, you will play a pivotal role in our company’s future and be asked to assist in architecture and design decisions for our applications. You will mentor more junior programmers and shape the development teams as they grow. We are always looking for new ways to improve our development processes where possible.
Ideally candidates will have a minimum of 10 years of experience and a degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent. However, candidates with adequate experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree.
- Experience in at least one of: Java, Python
- Experience writing web applications (CSS, Java Script, HTML)
- Windows & Linux operating systems
- Networks and networking protocols
- Experience in the IT security domain
