Miles James is a Cyber Security Analyst on Field Effect's Service Delivery team. Based in the UK, Miles began his career in the Royal Air Force, where he completed an apprenticeship as a unified communications technician before transitioning into a cybersecurity role where he was responsible for the maintenance, hardening and continuous monitoring of deployable systems. Later he was selected for engineering and analysis roles in the UK Armed Forces' Cyber Cadre.

Since joining Field Effect, Miles has supported the Analytic Operations team's around-the-clock monitoring and incident handling through the triaging of alerts, containment of compromised systems, and investigation of active incidents.
