Field Effect wins two gold awards for MDR and IR

Last updated: August 11, 2023

Covalence and Incident Response services take top honours in 2021 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards

It’s rarely business as usual at Field Effect. Last year, we nearly tripled the size of our team, introduced more amazing product functionality and services, and fine-tuned our customer success efforts to help businesses and organizations maximize their security outcomes—all while staying far ahead of a changing workplace and threat landscape.

As we kept a steady focus on cyber security excellence, we also managed to slide into the spotlight. This week, our Covalence threat monitoring, detection, and response platform and Incident Response services won gold in the 2021 Cybersecurity Excellence Awards.

The annual awards program, recognizing the world’s best in cyber security, is produced by Cybersecurity Insiders, in partnership with the Information Security Community on LinkedIn—a network of more than 400,000 cyber security professionals. Winners are not only determined by the strength of their nominations, but through voting by the members of this respected community.

This makes it an extra special win, but it’s also great to be named alongside companies and individuals doing innovative things to advance cyber security.

Covalence lets you focus on the alerts that matter

In contrast to other threat monitoring solutions, Covalence not only provides a view into every aspect of a company’s threat surface—networks, endpoints, cloud services, and more—it aggregates the data from multiple security events into actionable alerts.

This means no more alert fatigue, wasted time, and missing critical threats. Covalence delivers cyber analyst-verified threat data as clear and prioritized reporting to help you understand your threats as Actions, Recommendations, and Observations (AROs). Each ARO alert includes a straightforward description of the issue and detailed steps for resolution or security improvement.

This proprietary approach to MDR removes the noise and provides the threat alerts that matter with the context needed to resolve them.  We ensure you can quickly identify the priorities and take action, while also providing the guidance you need to continually improve your security posture.

Incident Response services tailored to every business need

Whether you’ve just experienced a cyber security incident or are looking to put a solid plan in place to prepare for the unexpected, we have you covered.

We provide a full range of IR services to identify the cause of incidents, provide effective remediation and full recovery, and ensure business continuity. Throughout the lifecycle of the incident, our team of experienced cyber security analysts provides continual support and status updates. We also help you understand the threats targeting your operations, offering guidance and recommendations.

Our Covalence MDR is also key in our IR toolkit. We immediately deploy Covalence to support our four-phase process of resolving incidents—issue identification, root cause analysis, issue elimination and reporting, and incident neutralization. After an incident is resolved, our services include access to Covalence for three months to prevent future attacks and continually improve security.

We couple this with Incident Preparedness services that help you put the processes and strategies in place to react quickly and effectively if an incident should happen, minimizing the impact and reducing the costs of a potential cyber attack.

Don’t just take our word, see what our customers are saying!

While we love sharing our award recognition, we believe our customers are the best testament to the success of our products and services.
